This lid fits standard sized mason jars.
A design inspired by the classic American zinc cap, but enhanced with the practicality of BPA-free recyclable plastic. With the reCAP lid you can easily shake, pour and store right from your mason jars! It also makes a great spout for spill free drinking.
Are these caps metal?
No, they are bpa-free plastic. The color is grey/pewter and designed to resemble the vintage zinc caps.
Are the caps dishwasher safe and BPA-free?
Yes, the caps are BPA-free. According to healthychild.org it is recommended to hand-wash plastic even if it is approved for heating.

This is a very smart invention. Very functional. I like it for my jars. Unlike the regular lids, it is good for quick and easy access. Easy to clean and is durable

Love it! We juice oranges and grapefruits on a regular basis and drink them out of mason jars. As well, I drink green smoothies on a daily basis out of mason jars. The cap makes it so much easier and better than using the metal lid that comes with the jars.

I received my order of ReCAP lids last week. So far, I have used them as lids on my pantry staples and as drink lids. They do not leak and they fit the standard mason jars from multiple manufacturers.
I look forward to ordering the wide mouth lids when available.

As we use more and more goods in jars, we've struggled with products that pour. The ReCap is a wonderful contraption for homemade salad dressings and maple syrup (which we buy in 4L jugs - too heavy!) I haven't yet had the opportunity to use it for iced tea in my lunches, but looking forward to it when school goes back in January.

I've started bringing my smoothies to work with the reCAP mason jar lid and they are getting attention. When the package arrived in the mail, I filled my mason jar with water, added the reCAP lid and turned it upside down. Not one drop wasted! I'm impressed.
If you are looking for a functional, sustainable way of taking your own smoothies to work, this is a great solution. Washes up easy enough. I use it every day.

This is so handy for storing anything that you need to pour. Put together with the Jumbo paper straws and it works great for a morning breakfast smoothie to go!

This is an awesome bottle cap. When on the right sized Mason jar, it seals really nicely and makes a strong, non-leaky water bottle.
