    These hot paper cups are certified biodegradable and compostable in commercial compost facilities. Traditional hot cups are lined with plastic making them very difficult to recycle as the plastic lining must be removed from the paper. Our paper cups have a compostable lining made from Polylactic Acid(PLA). PLA is a bioplastic made from renewable resources such as corn starch, tapioca roots, and sugarcane.
